These are the classes for you! Immerse yourself in whitewater kayaking and feel the tremendous results. Intermediate Kayaking Classes Guided Trips let you explore some of the Northern California Gems, plus paddle with one of Northern California classic kayakers and master instructor...Michael Kirwin. Kayak Immersion classes let you take your skills to limit! The initial instruction will solidify basic skills and prepare for subsequent exciting times on the river! This experience will leave you energized and confident about whitewater kayaking! You will learn all the steps to execute the kayak roll and have lots of practice time. You will learn paddle strokes and concepts used by the pros that will allow you to have maximum fun on the river! These are powerful skills that you can use anywhere from flat water to extreme class V. These are exciting classes for the beginner who is eager to learn, or the rusty paddler brushing up on skills.

Our Intermediate Kayaking Classes are for the intermediate kayaker who wants instruction and coaching for harder whitewater. Additionally these classes are for those who would like to explore some of the Northern California Gems, plus paddle with one of Northern California 's classic kayakers and master instructor...Michael Kirwin. Trips vary from the Upper Sacramento, to the California Salmon and Scott. These are spring runs only! All gear and a brief resume of rivers run and experience is expected.

Classes designed to fit your vacation schedule. Please call for available dates! Contact us to schedule private, semi-private or group lessons.

Private lessons: $300 per day.
Semi-private (two person): $200 per person/per day.
Group (3 - 4 people): $175 per person/per day.

On a Three or Four Day Kayak Immersion you will have time to perfect the strokes learned on the first two days using them in a variety of whitewater. This will give you the chance to really enjoy what you have learned! You will become better at edge control while getting in and out of eddies and ferrying your boat in current. Reading rapids will become more familiar, and river safety skills will be taught also. We start you off in your comfort zone on day one and teach progressions from there. While giving you what you want, we'll slip in a little of what you need along the way, too!
